25 Books That WILL Change Your Life

In this blog-post I wanted to share all my favourite books I have red in the past 3 years and, to be shot in my description, are Mind-Blowing.

There is no particular order, but I really truly enjoyed all these books and learner from them.

Business & Wealth:

1. Better Than Before: Mastering the Habits of Our Everyday Lives by Gretchen Rubin
Gretchen Rubin's answer: through habits. Habits are the invisible architecture of everyday life. It takes work to make a habit, but once that habit is set, we can harness the energy of habits to build happier, stronger, more productive lives.
So if habits are a key to change, then what we really need to know is: How do we change our habits? - Better than Before answers that question.

2. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
As the title of the book implies, Covey describes the seven habits of highly effective people and techniques for adopting the seven habits. Covey makes clear that an individual must make a paradigm shift before incorporating these habits into his/her own personal life. A paradigm is essentially the way an individual perceives something. Covey emphasizes that if we want to make a change in our lives, we should probably first focus on our personal attitudes and behaviors. He applies different examples via family, business, and society in general.
This book's focal point is on an approach to obtain personal and interpersonal effectiveness. Covey points out that private victories precede public victories. He makes the example that making and keeping promises to ourselves comes before making and keeping promises to others.
Habits 1, 2, and 3 deal with self-mastery. They move an individual from dependency on others to independence. Habits 4, 5, and 6 deal with teamwork, cooperation, and communication. These habits deal with transforming a person from dependency to independence to interdependence. Interdependence simply means mutual dependence. Habit 7 embodies all of the other habits to help an individual work toward continuous improvement.

3. Bounce: The Myth of Talent and the Power of Practice by Matthew Syed
The main message/goal of Matthew Syed's book Bounce is to discredit the established notion that success in highly complex tasks (athletics in this case) is entirely due to innate ability. Instead, he argues, it is thousands of hours of purposeful, challenging practice and determination to improve that create the superior skill observed in top athletes, chess players and professionals in other fields.
Syed writes in a conversational tone that is very engaging and easy to follow. He does a decent job articulating his arguments and uses scientific evidence, personal experience as a table tennis Olympian and anecdotes from famous athletes to back up his claims. Additionally, this book has plenty of good insight, for example: the amount of practice it takes on average to acquire a high level of skill in a particular activity; the difference between regular practice and purposeful practice; why certain races are falsely perceived to be "naturally" good at certain sports; how children respond when they are rewarded for talent vs. hard work; the physiology of choking during a performance and many others.

4. The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz

22 Things I Have Learned In My Life

1. Not all people that come into your life are there to stay forever (as much you might even want to). Many people come into your life at a particular time, because they are a match at that point. It is okay to let go and move apart. It is not an end, just new chapter.

2. You came into this world alone, and you will leave alone (sorry with twins and more is trickier to describe). Think of yourself as a whole. You are not s half that needs another half to be happy. You are whole and complete, like 100% charged phone battery. Make use of your life and enjoy yourself fully every second of your life.

3. Talk to strangers. I don't consider myself a shy person, but what comes to people at the counter, taxi drivers or just random people on the street, I always felt limited in my words I could say. Only if necessary, you know. But not for the past 2 years. It is great to realize, not only you but the other person (no matter what they are doing) have a story and a baggage of life experiences. Now I enjoy questioning taxi drivers, chit chatting with shop assistants and if I want just random people on the street. It's fun, and at the end of the conversation, we feel both feel uplifted.

4. Treat everyone as you would want to be treated. I know, sounds logical right?, but why then people still get mad and shout. It is not a hotel receptionists fault that hotel does not have a double room anymore, it is not a drivers fault that there is traffic. Be mindful and accept everything as it comes. You can control only yourself. By suddenly becoming mad you will not suddenly speed up the traffic or desired room will not become suddenly available. People are only motivated to help other people that treat them good, so be the one that is easy to communicate with and solve the problem.

5. Think "in" numbers and dates. I feel I have many times failed because I have been very vague. For example, "I want to lose weight" or "I want to an increase in my salary". So what does it gives you? - you are still left with desire. Think - "I want to lose 5kg in 2 months" or "I want a salary increase by 300 euros." Now you have a clear goal. And now you can create a plan according to your goal. Be clear, clarity is very vital in achieving your goals.

6. Set goals. You need to know what you want in order to get it. Be clear and precise. If you know exactly what you want, your mind will find a way - how.

7. The body achieves what the mind believes. You will take yourself as far as you think you can. Your mind is a very powerful tool. Never set a limit for yourself, for example, I only want to be able to run 5 km. And what happens when you get there? Will you stop? No, add 500m every time you run. Imagine if every time you run you would add 500m? On average, we need 1.5-3 minutes to run 500m. Add 5 minutes every time you go running. Or if you go to the gym, for example, add 5 extra repetitions or 5kg weight on top of what you did the last time. By applying a progressive thinking in just one thing, it will help you to adopt this mindset in all other aspects of your life.

8. Never stop learning and challenging yourself. Everyday learn something new. And yes, it is easy if you schedule it in your daily plan. You never go to a doctor if you haven’t made an appointment, right? Plan and execute. If you want to grow in any aspect of your life, you need to expand your knowledge on that topic. Every day, every month, every year and so on. Read articles on your topic, follow trends, read other success stories and best practices. Nowadays innovation is the key to success.

9. Ask questions. As soon as the question arise - ask it. Unasked questions create more questions in your head in a longer run. Don't be afraid of asking; this is the only way how you can learn effectively. Don’t leave anything for later, because then you have already forgotten. People love sharing and feel uplifted when others are interested in listening what they have to say.

10. Be yourself. There is NOBODY like you, and once you realize that your entire future changes.

11. Love yourself and accept where you are in life. Don’t live in a “future self”. You have only now and you don’t know what can happen tomorrow. You are where you are, because this is as far as you have gotten, and whatever you have is great!

12. Be grateful. By reminding yourself daily of things you are thankful for, makes you feel uplifted and reminds how much you already have. Yes, there will always be something new you don’t have - and what? Be grateful that it is hard because tough times make you stronger. Be grateful that you don’t come from wealthy family, because this is an opportunity for you to create a fantastic success story of your life and inspire others how to become wealthy. Be grateful about all your failures, they all were excellent lessons that made you stronger. There is always something to be grateful for - even for having a life because it is a gift.

13. Whatever it is you are doing - do it 100%. No matter what your work might be or a uni class you are studying. By devoting 100% your effort, you will get 100% results. People always notice others that do something with 100% effort. I am sure you have experienced superb and average service. So be the one that delivers the excellent job, be noticed and be awarded by being present and giving 100%. You get what you give. So give - 100%.

14. Plan your life. If you don’t create your life plan, chances are you will fall into someone else’s plan and guess what they have planned for you? - Not much!

15. Failure is not a show stopper. It is an opportunity to learn something new. If something did not happen as you thought it would, become your own life detective. Investigate and solve. Express your interest to your failures and don’t be afraid of them. All your failures build an experience and makes you a stronger and smarter person.

16. Turn your mess into the message. Whatever struggles you are facing - share it (it does not need to be viral, family member or friend is enough). Because what you might not realize is that many people are facing the same struggles that you do. We all go through similar life paths - birth, childhood, school, university, job, love, friends, family, and we all are here to learn, give and share. By sharing your story with others you can hear & learn from their experience, you might inspire and help other people to overcome similar obstacles. This is a win-win situation.

17. Don’t complain. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. You are just draining and wasting your energy you are given. Everything is possible but that “everything”  is in your hands. Put your energy towards greater and more positive thoughts. Think good, think love, think success and everything you think about and visualize will become a reality. Visualization is a very powerful method. Imagine yourself achieving something you desire and your mind will find a way how to get there.

18. Create your own daily, weekly, monthly, yearly rituals and traditions. Create your own miracle morning. I highly recommend reading a book called ‘Miracle Morning’ by Hal Elrod. It had a fantastic impact on my life, and I say life because the way you start your mornings can shift your life completely. Create a weekly recharge rituals, monthly meet ups with friends, yearly travels with your friends and family. Create traditions around your life. It is a great feeling knowing that something is coming up.

19. Say to people how and why you appreciate them. Share with them your thought on their strengths, inspire them to develop even stronger skills in areas they thrive in and are great at. Help other to become better and help you with the same.

20. Meditation. Train your awareness. Meditation helps me to feel whole, feel my body inside out, I can scan my emotional state and relieve all the tension. It teaches me to focus and notice small thins and detail, and this has helped me tremendously when communicating with people and being focused and sharp at work.

21. Travel alone. This is a big eye opener and challenger. So often we rely on or family, friends, and loved ones. We rely on other choices, following other guided directions and not fully using our mind to think and make our choices. Have you traveled alone? How did it feel? Where you walking somewhere and thinking of "I want to be somewhere else"? Traveling alone hugely helps to learn how to have fun alone, meet new people, feel strong and enough for yourself when you are alone. People love independent people, that have an interesting baggage of life stories and achievements.

22. Eat well. Be mindful what you put in your mouth. Your meals are your fuel. The best food is fast and simple. Eat raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and grains. Everything that grows from the ground and is created my mother-nature. Educate yourself about health and fitness. If you want to live long and happy life, you need to understand how your body works (keep in mind, not everything works for everybody. Know your background, analyze your roots) and trial the best foods and combinations that make you feel the best and give you the best results. Develop a feeling for healthy nutrition intake and balanced activity regime. Educate yourself about foods that you eat, what is their nutritional value, where the food is coming from and what is the best time to eat it.

6 Simple Things That Make Me Happy Every Day

I finally decided to write down all the things that I can do every day to make me happier.

1. Wake up early. I usually wake up at 6 AM, drink a big glass of water and go to the gym or for the run.

2. Exercise. This is an important part of my daily routine. Regular workouts make me happy, helps to build a strong discipline (in any aspect of my life), teaches me always to push more & harder to reach new fitness and life goals, make me stronger physically and mentally. Exercise is huge! For me it is a must, it is like breathing fresh air.

3. Meditation. I started to meditate about a year ago, but I have taken brakes and those brakes made me realise how big impact meditation is making on me. Meditation is making me very calm, takes away any stress or anxiety. I think nowadays living in such a fast and success have driven society, it is very important to be in peace and harmony with yourself and your life. Because only by checking Instagram feed we can get to a place where we think - I am not enough or my life sucks, because I am not doing this, I am not experiencing this, I don't look like he/her... and all this bull shit. I think what is very important is to realise that our life = my life is a continues journey. I can switch roads anytime I want. I can change. I can become better and by doing that I can inspire somebody else, who might have a similar struggle. You / I just need to be ready to turn my/your mess into the message and be fricking proud of it! Yes, we need to be proud of where we are, what we know and what we can do. Stop complaining and take action. Ok, did a started with the word 'meditation'? Sorry. :)

4. Journalling. This is what I am doing now. I actually started to write down all these thoughts on the paper, and then I am like - mh, I have a blog, I should write it there! These are the things that I want to do every day, but I am still skipping (damn me), so I thought "you know what - I will share this and maybe help somebody else". :) Okay, you don't need to start a public journal now, just start where you feel comfortable. Start with Saturday mornings. See how you feel like after putting your thought down. In my personal experience it really helps to 'clean up my mind' and makes me feel lighter (when I actually do it, khe-khem).

5. Clean - healthy - plant based - vegan diet/food. This is my personal preference. I am not saying you need to become a raw vegan now to feel happy, BUT what it does to me:
- keeps me energised (yaas, anybody who has spent some time with me knows that I just need to move and do something i.e. Movement Is A Life For Me :))
- keeps me lean and fit (anybody loves carrying some extra fat in here? :D)
- keeps my skin healthy and glowing (who loves pimples, doah?)
- helps to get a better sleep (no more nightmares after cola-chips-cake-popcorn dinners, because why should you put that cheap crap in your body??)
- potentially makes me look younger in the future. If I keep myself lean, then for sure, I don't wear out my body quicker by just every day carrying an extra 15kg on my bones and I am overall just happier person by being fit and healthy. These are evident, but if you google, you will find 101 benefit of being lean & vegan &, etc. throughout your life.

6. Podcasts. I love to listen to podcasts. Currently, my favourite podcast is The School Of Greatness with Lewis House. Podcasts have mega positive, inspiring and motivating effect on me. It is great to be able to hear all these life stories of already very success people. It is interesting to listen to their struggles, ups and downs, successes and just understand how they go about their life. Every podcast holds tremendous value and knowledge that you can implement in your life. Also it is super easy to absorb and listen to these podcasts because you can be on the go, driving in the car, at the gym or making a cup coffee, just put your phone next to you or use your headphones.

Natural Herbs & Spices & Foods That Burn Your Body Fat

So, as I have entered my cut, I got really curious and started to research some potentially great natural herbs and spices that could help me to shred my fat and make by prep at least a little bit easier. And don't get me wrong here (especially who knows me), I do not have any weight problems, I just have a healthy interest in natural medicine and how can it potentially improve my life or reach desired goals. Currently, I am 52.5kg, actually, I was 51.4kg two weeks ago, but as I super intensively hit the gym with my PT, I have built some solid amount of muscle over the last two weeks.

Currently, my goal is to lose 3.5-5kg for the Marathon, that I will be running in 2 months.

Without any longer introductions, I have listed all the possible natural herbs, mostly roots and spices, that I will be testing in the next to month. As per my research, 33 below listed foods can boost fat burn, alongside with balanced diet and fitness.

Aloe vera juice improves digestion and cleanses the digestive tract.

2. Astragalus (Astragalus gummifer)/Astragalus root
Astragalus increases energy and improves nutrient absorption.

3. Bee pollen
Bee pollen stimulates the metabolism and helps to curb appetite. According to research performed at the Institute of Apiculture in Russia, bee pollen has been known and used to not only stimulate the metabolism, but to curb appetite. Bee pollen contains phenylalanine, a natural appetite suppressant. Take up to 1 teaspoon daily.

4. Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus) / Bladder Wrack Kelp
Bladderwrack contain iodine, which helps to enhance thyroid function. Dosage: Take 150 milligrams at breakfast and another 150 milligrams lunch for two months. 
Caution: Check with your doctor before taking this herb if you have a thyroid disorder, high blood pressure, or heart problems. If you are allergic to shellfish and/ or sensitive to iodine, do not take this herb. Also do not take kelp and bladderwrack at the same time.

Kelp is a type of seaweed and it can be bought in pills, tinctures, and dried. It is delicious and can be used a salt substitute, or eaten as a snack. One of the ways it works is by strengthening the thyroid, which can increase the metabolism. The other way it works is by giving your body easily absorbed nutrients which feed the body on a cellular level which reduces cravings. It is a bulk laxative.

5. Brewer's yeast
Brewer's yeast will help to reduce various cravings for food and drink.

6. Bojenmi Chinese Tea (Reduce Fat Tea)
This Chinese herbal formula is useful for combating weight gain and obesity. It has beneficial effects on the Stomach and Spleen, dispels Dampness and phlegm, invigorates Qi, promotes urination, and reduces fat.
Dosage: Steep one bag per cup of water; drink up to three cups a day.
Alisma, astragalus, and atractylodes is a Chinese herbal combination that helps to encourage weight loss. Alisma is a diuretic; astragalus enhances energy; atractylodes helps the digestion of carbohydrates. These three herbs work best when taken together. Select a combination formula and take one dose, as directed on the product label, two to three times daily.

7. Burdock
Improves fat metabolism and acts as a diuretic. Active ingredients include inulin, polyphenolic acids, and non-hydroxy acids. It is an excellent herbal blood purifier that detoxifies the blood and lymphatic system. It is high in iron, and can help build blood during times of low hemoglobin. Burdock is also considered a mild laxative.Burdock aids in the elimination of uric acid. Burdock root can also help to reduce cravings and hunger and thus assist in weight loss. The best way to use burdock root for weight loss is as a standard decoction: Bring water to a boil, pour in about an ounce of dried burdock root, gently simmer for ten to twenty minutes, and allow to cool. Drink between meals.

8. Cayenne
Improves circulation and digestion. Has thermogenic effects. In one study it was shown that cayenne increased core body temperature, which in turn increased the metabolism and caused the participants to lose more weight then the group not taking cayenne.

9. Cardamom
A thermogenic herb. One of Cardamom's main uses is as a digestive aid due to its soothing and antispasmodic properties. Studies have shown it may help with any digestive condition.

10. Cinnamon
Creates a thermogenic burn. It reduces cholesterol levels – in particular, lowering bad cholesterol while leaving good cholesterol the same. It is cinnamon’s effect on blood sugar that makes it a potential help in the war against obesity, insulin resistance, sometimes known as "prediabetes," and the "Metabolic Syndrome." Cinnamon can be used in its powdered or stick form, adding it to drinks and foods, or as a supplement.

11. Citrus Aurantium
It is a commonly used Chinese herb to improve stomach and gastrointestinal function. Recent research has shown that it may be as effective as ephedra in increasing thermogenesis in the body without the side effects that often result with the use of ephedra. Thermogenesis is the process through which the body converts stored fat into energy and body heat. Increasing the thermogenic process in the body may increase weight loss. Citrus aurantium, or Zhi Shi, contains a combination of adrenergic amines. These are synephrine, N-methyltyramine, hordenine, octopamine, and tyramine. All of these substances have been shown to have powerful thermogenic properties. When this herb is used along with moderate exercise and a healthy diet, it may assist with weight loss.

12. Chickweed (Stellaria media)
This herb a great folk reputation for shedding weight. You can eat it raw in salads. Alternately, you can steam it and eat it like a vegetable. For a great weight loss salad, mix chickweed, dandelion, evening primrose, stinging nettle (cooked and cooled), plantain and purslane. Add this to your regular salad.

13. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Dandelion may flush out the kidneys, boost metabolism, and off- set a craving for sweets. Eat the leaves raw in a salad or make a tea by boiling 2 to 3 tsp of the root in a cup of water for I 0 to 15 minutes. Drink three times a day.

14. Dandelion Root
Aids fat metabolism by affecting the liver. By acting to remove poisons from the body, it acts as a tonic and stimulant as well.

15. Evening primrose (Oenothera biennis)
This herb is a good source for tryptophan which also has been shown to be effective as a natural alternative to help reduce cholesterol levels and help people who do not process fats correctly loose weight. Take a half-teaspoon of evening primrose oil three times a day.

16. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
Fennel removes mucus and fat from the intestinal tract, and is a natural appetite suppressant. A diuretic that reduces hunger and improves energy. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) seed and nettle (Urtica dioica) leaves make a useful tea for weight loss. Use one teaspoon fennel seed and two teaspoons nettle leaves to three cups water. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Fennel is potentially toxic. Prepare fennel seed tea: 4 tsp. of seeds in 2 pints of boiling water and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, keep the container covered, and allow to stand for 15 minutes, then strain. 1 cup 3 or 4 times per day, cool or heated.

17. Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum)
Fenugreek is useful for dissolving fat within the liver.

18. Garcinia Cantbogia
Aids fat metabolism and reduces hunger. This herb is currently used in the United States as a component of weight loss formulas. Various species of South Asian plants of the genus Garcinia (particularly Garcinia cantbogia) have high contents of hydroxycitrate (HCA), which is the active ingredient in this and many other currently marketed weight loss products. However, it has not yet been shown, in controlled studies published in the scientific literature, to be effective in weight loss in humans. Preliminary research suggests that garcinia inhibits the accumulation of lipid droplets in fat cells and thereby reduces lipid levels and decreases lipid accumulation in the liver. The hydroxycitrate acid (HCA) found in garcinia is also theorized to improve exercise endurance by increasing lipid oxidation and decreasing carbohydrate utilization . A dosage of, an extract containing 50% hydroxycitric acid, 1000 mg three times daily has been used for weight loss.

19. Ginger
Ginger is a known metabolic activator and has been thought to increase metabolism by as much as twenty percent. Some people swear by ginger’s appetite suppressing abilities too.  Ginger can also help improve digestion and even soothe an upset stomach.

20. Green Tea (Camellia sinensis)
Green tea enhances the ability of the body to burn fat. Choose a standardized extract containing 50 percent catechin and 90 percent total polyphenols and take 300 milligrams thirty minutes before breakfast and another thirty minutes before lunch. Do not take more.

21. Guggul (Commiphora mukul)
This is a popular herb used in Ayurveda. Guggul is frequently recommended by Ayurveda practitioners for weight control in addition to use in lowering cholesterol. In clinical trials, intake of guggul derivatives regularly for three months results in four times the weight loss compared to placebo. Dosage: 2.25 grams twice a day.

22. Gymnema Sylvestre
It decreases sugar cravings by acting on the pancreas enabling it to maintain a steady blood sugar, which decreases cravings and hypoglycemia

23. Hawthorn
Reduces blood fat and improves circulation. Hawthorn berry helps with stagnant, undigested food accumulated in the stomach, they also stimulate the adrenal glands and improve thyroid function.

24. Kelp (Fucus spp.)
Kelp is a type of seaweed that’s rich in antioxidant vitamins and iodine. It is believed to stimulate a hormone produced by the thyroid gland that’s responsible for boosting metabolism, so you’ll burn more calories by the hour. You can also get other kinds of seaweed in your diet by adding them to soups and salads. Kelp is very useful for thyroid-related obesity.

25. Licorice root
It sacrifices craving for sweets and prevents habitual snacking without adding calories. You should eat 1 to 2 sticks a day.

26. Nettles
Nettles is high in nutrition (rich in vitamins C and E and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, silica, and potassium, which are important for healing broken bones, muscle strains, and tendon injuries.) and helps clears toxins but it also has a effect on weight loss that isn’t clearly understood, but it is believed that it helps by feeding the cells on a deeper level which reduces cravings. Nettle tea is used to curb appetite and cravings and assist in weight loss.

27. Queen’s Flower
Queen’s flower has been shown to be one of the most effective plant used in alternative weight control and diabetes.

28. Red pepper (Capsicum), Hit Mustard, and other hot spices
Scientists have found that people who took hot spicy foods (adding a teaspoon of red-pepper sauce and a teaspoon of mustard to meal) raised their metabolic rates by as much as 25 percent. The hot spice also stimulates thirst, so you drink more liquids that also helps in gaining less weight.

29. Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus Senticosus)
Siberian ginseng helps to stabilize blood sugar and reduce cravings for sweets. It is also a natural energizer. 
Dose: Choose a standardized extract containing 0.5 percent eleutheroside E and take 100 milligrams daily, two weeks out of every month, for up to three months.
Caution: Do not use if you have high blood pressure.

30. Seaweed
Seaweed is a good natural source of trace mineral and is a natural thyroid stimulant. It is widely available in capsule or tablets forms at many health food stores.

31. Senna
An all natural laxative. It stimulates the colon, leading to the increased metabolism of fat.

32. Parsley
A diuretic and nutritional aid. Juicing recipes with carrot or parsley juice help curb the appetite & reduce hunger cravings. Besides, Carrot or parsley juices can also help maintain proper blood sugar levels, reducing the blood sugar swing that you can experience when on a weight loss program It is one of the highest sources of life-giving chlorophyll which acts like iron to oxidize the blood. Look for healthy, dark green leaves.

33. Psyllium
Studies show that the granules of these seeds consumed with water before a meal helps control the appetite. This herb causes an instant reduction of appetite by making the stomach feel full. The full feeling leads to less caloric and fat consumption.

Why Relationship End? Why Potential Is Not Enough?

To start with I would love to make a disclaimer - I am not a physiologist, relationship guru or certified therapist. Everything below are my thoughts based on my experience and research.

Lets start from the beginnings. As children, we saw everything. Coldness, love, fights, intimacy, anger, possessiveness, respect or disrespect, rituals. All the wide spectrum, and it's great. But what we forget to realise, want we or not - we bring all that with us. Even if we think - I will not do that, I will not talk this way. The truth is sometimes even not realising we find us closer to the apple, even than we thought.

Our family was the place where we learned about closeness, trust, loyalty, commitment, sharing, talking, receiving, asking. All the life essentials were learned at home. If they.

So in life, we have two relationships. One with our family (people who rise you) and with everybody else (people you fall in love with).

Below are four crucial people behaviours what are most likely to break the relationships:


When you or your partner stops caring about what other think, how other feel, how other is doing. When THE thing (business, car, beauty, etc.) becomes more important. Being indifferent degrades other person. The essential feeling for the connection between each other is knowing that we matter. That we feel = “I matter to you. I am someone. You care about me. You want my wellbeing. You are proud of me. You want good for me.”


When people start to take each other for granted. They take care more of their business, car or dog more than about their partner. Why when people start dating they take care of each other, put an effort, text like crazy, call, show huge interest, but forget to make an effort when they are together, married etc.? Why people start to think that relationships will take care of its own and will be alive like cactus in the desert?


Now valuing another person. Making another feel like what you do is nothing. This is not good enough. You can do it better.

Indirect violence.

Abuse, disrespect. Why we talk nicer to strangers, but not our partners? Imagine if you would act the same way at work, with a policeman or new friends? - Obviously, it would screw up everything. But relationships? Why do we think we can gateway and don’t put an effort? Why with our partners and family we start to think that they will be there forever?


THE Sex.

How we sustain the desire?
How we can have sex with one person for a long period of time, that is fun, connected, intimate and playful?

The fact is, women get bored with sex much sooner than man. Why?

Man can keep the interest for sex for the much longer time because he is interested in sex itself.

The woman, on the other hand, cares less about sex. Woman care less about the sex itself in the committed relationships because it is not so interesting. And it's all because the story, the connection, the romance, the turn ON for the sex is not there anymore. After “getting" the desired woman, a man very often forgets about the most precious thing what woman needs = to desire them again and again - TURN ON. THE FOR PLAY - this is the real thing for the woman. This is what gets female interested is sex. Not just, honey, can you please help with the pressure down there. Sure woman can, but what is there for her? For a woman it is all about the seduction, creating a game. Woman love games. It's a coming close, it's a tease, it's a mystery. It's what animals call - pacing. It's when you come a little bit, and I come a little bit. I step back, and you step forward. It's an essential ingredient for a seduction, for the GAME. Therefore, a man very ofter interprets as woman are just not interested in sex, that they don’t need, so they go and look somewhere else. But in the reality, it's not true. Woman want. Woman WANT sex as badly as a man do, but for a woman, the essential thing that makes her “come” is that man desire to concur her again and again. This is what keeps woman fresh, what makes her what to look better, go to the gym, what stimulates her to be the best version possible. Woman want to feel needed and wanted. This literally, star rockets womans desire for sex. Bold and honest truth - woman just wants an attention.


In general, when other people turn us the most? - When they are at their peak. When they do their work, when they exercise, when they talk on the stage, when they do something spectacular.  Then they are vibrant and confident.

When are we the most drawn to our partner? When we are in our element, when we feel strong, when we feel powerful.

Reality. During the day, when we are at work or lunch and talk to our friends and colleagues = we are energetic, we strive to leave a good impression, we put an effort, we give our best.

And what happens when we come back at home in the evening? We leave the leftovers for our loved ones/family. :(

On a daily basis we put our biggest focus on a commitment, work, bills, our personal wellbeing, and then we say - oh, our relationship is boring. This is not working. Question, on which place the relationship is on your daily To Do List? Did you actually put an effort to make it work? Love will not just happen. Sex will not just happen. This is our conscious decision. It is all in our hands. And only we can make it work. It's all about the decision to constantly put an effort. The same effort we put in the gym, at work or at the exam. We decide what is important and do it RELIGIOUSLY.

Ask yourself:
What can I do to make it different from the ways I did it until now?
What can I do that I think can actually improve my relationship?
What I think will be good for us?

And it's not that we need to come up with something new every day. It's all about those little things. AWARENESS.
What can I notice?
What can I say?
                          Can I leave a little note?

To have a great relationship you always need to be alert. Comfort will not take you far. It's curiosity. When you are curious you lean forward and you watch. You are open to the mysteries of life.

Do you still think relationships take to much work?
And what about your work or business?
If you not gone work for three weeks, will you still make money?


In the end of the life, nobody will remember that you worked for 70 or 80 hours a week. People will remember that there was somebody special who was there when he/she was needed the most. When somebody put an effort to do something special. When somebody said something special. Don’t do a bare minimum, and don’t do anything with feeling - “I do it because I know it will make him/her happy.” Do it because YOU want it to do.

It's normal that people in relationships are different. Embrace it. It's normal to have your own space. Say it. It's perfectly fine to have a different passion. Share it. It's awesome to have your own friends. It's healthy to spend time alone. Don’t try to make your partner into everything. Find multiple sources, so you can have a group of people who can support you. One person can’t be for everything.

What works for the first 3 months, might not work after 1 year. What works after 5 years, might not work when you are together already for 30 years.

Relationships are all about:

- Flexibility
- Innovation
- Ability to reinvent yourself
- Learning new skills
- Being open minded and alert
- Try new things and take risks

It's like building a business, it's like building your personality. It's like your fashion style = It changes from time to time, it changes with age, it changes with adopting new habits and lifestyle.

Don’t wait till the crisis hits your relationship. It's almost impossible to change it at that point. Make sure to check in with your partner from time to time. Talk. Share. Discuss. Engage. Relationships will not just work if you will not make them work.

And I think a healthy way of thinking about your current or future partner would be - This is my partner for life NOT - I will find a partner for life. Because you choose that. You choose either to keep this person next to you for the rest of your life, or you let it go. It's all about your thoughts and actions. You can keep looking, find one, go away, start looking, find another, let it go and then again start looking. Understand - another person is not obligated to keep you entertained, satisfied and happy. You both choose to do it.

Partners are not BETA and their TRIAL does not expire. You can always find another, but it doesn’t mean it will be better. There are not a lot of people you can LOVE and there are not a lot of people with whom you can LIVE. There might be a lot of people with whom you can make a love story, have a great sex, go out to the movies, but there is not a lot of people with whom you could Live For The Rest Of Your Life.

How to find a person for life?
Look for shared values. Notice things that another person enjoys as you (fitness, travel, work, growth, their life missions and goals). Everything else besides feelings. If you can imagine yourself building successful relationships with this person, creating a home, marrying, having children, then this can be the one. But it only will be the ONE if you will put a constant effort It To BE.

What I eat every day as a Vegan?

I can swear by everything I have that I never felt as great, positive, fit, energetic, productive and strong as I feel now if my life. And I am 100% sure that it all comes down to our daily habits. Our daily habits dictate our health, wealth and success.

In this post I wanted to share the foods I eat and my daily Winter regime.

Daily activity regime:
1. 7:00AM - I wake up (in summer I wake up at 5:00AM, I am a sun person, so I wake up with the sun)
2. 8:00 - 9:00AM - Workout
3. 10:30 - 11:30AM - Self education, personal growth, writing a blogpost - it can weary
4. 11:30AM - 6,7,8,9PM - work (I don't count hours I work, currently it is the most important thing in my life and I will do it as much as necessary or when I get tired, or when I just understand my mind is somewhere else)

Daily food regime:
1. 7:30 - 0,5L glass of water with lemon
2. 8:10-9:10 - 0,6L bottle of water with BCAA
3. 9:40-11:00 - 1L of still or sparkling water
4. 11:20 - 0,35L cup of black coffee
5. 12:00 - bowl of fruit salad (banana, orange, grapefruit, pear, apple...seasonal fruits)
6. 12:30 - organic oatmeal made on 1/2 water & 1/2 coconut milk
7. 15:00 - raw salad (green leaves, spinach, tomato, carrot, parsnip, beetroot, celery, sprouts, seeds, sun dried tomatoes, avocado, tofu)
8. 17-18:00 - lentils/sweet potatoe/brown rice/buckwheat with some veggies and hummus
9. 18-21:00 - water, teas

Below you can see some meal examples I had in the past 2 month.

This is my ideal regime, that I try to stick to. Of course, some days I can have different foods like pumpkin soup or I need to be early in the city centre to visit my dentist, or stuff like that. But 90% of times, my life looks like this.

Nails, calves, gelish, manicure... Yes, we love that all. I have been asked so many times - Kristina, what do you do to grow your nails so long? And what do you do to keep them long, so they do not brake?


I hope you are ready to hear it - diet!. Yes, it all comes down to diet. You can drink any and every supplement in the world, but it will never give you life long result as the diet will do.

I am vegan. Every day I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, grains, sprouts,healthy fats like seeds etc. I literarily  pack my body with fiber, vitamins an nutrients.

In the list below you can see all the foods I typically eat every day:

1. Avocado
2. Sesame seeds
3. Carrot
4. Tomato
6. Beetroot (raw)
7. Celery
8. Sprouts
9. Sun-dried tomatoes
10. Coconut milk

As you can see I do not cheat on my meals. I don't have cheat meals and I don't want to have a cheat meals, because that just means I am cheating on my body, and why should I?

I want to be fit, healthy, energetic, have beautiful long hair, have healthy nails and skin, I just want to feel great. And to achieve that, I do not rely on a pill. Supplements will not gonna make you slim and healthy. What you put in your body is very clear by just looking at the mirror, it is a reflection.

So do you want to invest 30 euros in pills or in healthy food?

This is one of my favourite topics, and I can go on and on, but the main message is - don't cheat, your every action either takes you closer or pushes you back, so be smart and love your self. Feed yourself with fresh and raw foods, that has the most fiber, vitamins an nutrients. It will be the best investment you can make to achieve fantastic life long results!

How I make my YouTube videos?

So today I got a call from my brother, he was together driving in the car with Aljone (don't ask me who she is, because I have the same question :D), and the reason he called me was - Kristina, she needs to shoot a video for uni, can you help?

- how do you shoot?

- how do you put a video together?

- what camera do you use?

So, I ended up having about 10-20 minute chat with Aljona and telling the following.

Me: What this video ir for?
Aljona: I need to create a video by tomorrow = Wednesday or Friday morning on the subject "A promo video for my company", it does not need to be wow or super complicated, I just need to do it for the checkbox.
Me: Okay, fine, first things first, you need to list down at least 10 points step-by-step what do you want to show in your video. For example, 1. Knock on the door, 2. Grab the handle, 3. Open the door, 4. Look at the person in the room, 5. Shoot how person reacts on you opening the door etc. When I shoot my YouTube vlogs, I do not think about the sequence, because I just montage all the small videos in the same sequence as they were shot. The difference with "made up" video story is that - it is shot/created unnaturally, so your main goal is to make sure the audience will understand what you are trying to say, i.e. you can't pee and that take of the pants, you need to take of the pants first, right? Be thoughtful, before you even start shooting anything, first think logically and walk thought the story in your head what you want to shot, then right it down (imagine angles you want to shot) and only then - take a camera in your hands. Because the main think you want to avoid is - shooting something randomly, coming home, starting to put something together and than realising that you actually miss some key peaces for the story to be complete.

Aljona: Okay, do you think it is possible to get it done all today?
Me: Technically, yes, only take in account that now, while it is winter the good natural lightning is only from 10:00 to 15:00, so if you can shoot all you need, you are good. The main reason for this is that you want to get a good quality image with the minimum effort possible i.e. you do not want to use any light, tripods etc. as it will just take a long time to setup and for unprofessional quick video - unnecessary.

Aljona: What program should I use on my laptop to put this video together?
Me: Are you a Mac of Windows users?
Aljona: Windows.
Me: For Windows I would recommend Sony Vegas Pro 12, it is quit basic and straight forward. Only for sure, it will take you probably a day set it up and get a good feeling of the application, but this is something I used when I had Windows laptop. For all the Mac used I would recommend iMovie. Do not waist your time with more fancy programs like Final Cut Pro etc. If you are a beginner, start with simple, maximise the basic tools and only that move to the next one. Otherwise it will be the same as using Photoshop instead of the Paint, why should you do that if you just need a basic functionality that takes 10x less time to do in Paint?

Aljona: Thank you, what camera should I use? Is iPhone good enough?
Me: For sure, most of my daily vlogs I shoot with iPhone6/iPhone6s Plus. iPhone has a great quality, is extremely fast in the process and it is easy to review all the footage you already have. So for sure, use iPhone. If I am planing on doing something more fancy, I have a fish eye lense that I stick on my iPhone, or I use my Canon G7X for more detailed high resolution videos or if I want to shoot something sporty/action type footage I use my GoPro (hold it in my head, stick it on my bike, helmet - anywhere appropriate :)).

So this is an example of one of my last videos that is made in iMovie.

Recovery Mask for Weak and Damaged Hair

Hey beautiful :)

So over the last 8 month I got my hair coloured blond about 6-8 times and once I did bleached blonde strands. So obviously, my hair is not super happy to be coloured after 1+ year being not touched  - coloured, straightened, blowed dried etc.

And If you wonder why I did not touched my hair for more then a year - yes, when I moved to London and I struggled to find a job and I tried to save money, so I coloured my roots and hair by my self. I guess you can imagine what happened. :) No worries, all good now, this is a positive vide blog. :D

So the mask. First I need to say, that I did not thought that I would enjoy to have it on my hair so much as I did. The smell - it smelled fantastic.

I wanted to share something that happened to my #Facebook profile yesterday and I wanted to remind myself and you guys, how mindful we should be online by clicking on the links.

So my story. I was scrolling throw my facebook feed via iphone as on my #Chrome browser I have an extension called "News Feed Eradicator for Facebook" (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/news-feed-eradicator-for/fjcldmjmjhkklehbacihaiopjklihlgg) and it prevents from seeing all your posts.


Sorry guys, I just think it is a waist of my time and I better do something more meaningful, but anyway, once in a while I tend to scroll my feed via iphone or just go to specific profiles I am interested in.

So yesterday was the day, and thanks to my big curiosity in life I clicked on the one post posted by one of you guys :D and got redirected to another page, so in them moment that page got access to my facebook login details and now was able to post on my feed everything it wanted. Scary right?


So this is in a way our online reputation and do you really want your friends to see all these scams on your feed, and plus, because you posted them your friends feel more reliable to actually click on that link and get this #virus too.

I am here to help and NOW lets all together to go to our Facebook and delete all the scamy apps that has access to our login details. Why you should do this?

  1. First off all, do you want third-party service to have a full access to your account and login details and I can probably guess that this password is probably used in your other social media sites, right? :D
  2. This will prevent your fiends to seeing all these virus posts
  3. This will prevent your friends from getting this virus
  4. This will declutter your facebook feed and what your fiends see about you

So, Kristina, tell me how I can do this!!! - Okay, follow the steps below.

1. Go to your Facebook profile and on the right top corner click arrow

2.  Towards the end find "Settings and click on it"

3. Click on "Apps" on the left side on the screen

4. Delete all apps you don't know or now using anymore! Boom. What a relief? All those apps/companies had a full access to your profile, photos, personal information etc.


Conclusion. Guys be secure, be mindful, store you precious login details safe.

I highly recommend using @LastPass (https://lastpass.com) in this instance. It works as a browser extension where you can store all your unique passwords for all web sites you are using. All your gmails, web services, online platforms, business passwords etc. Do no, DO NOT use the same password for everything! Online industry is booming and there are a lot of hackers and individuals who are taking advantage of your insecurity and #iDidNotKnewThis :)

Your jogging will be more fun with a great music. You can pick a new playlist any time and there are even pre-made workout playlist available for you to listen to.

2. Focus on your surroundings


Find a new locations to get lost in! You will be able to run more and your excitement of seeing new places will shadow your tiredness.

3. Track your success

Use RunKeeper App to track and record your success and new achievements. App is tracking your distances and speed, so after every run you will always be updated on progress you are making.

4. Reward yourself

After a run to a new location you can go to a nice healthy cafe or restaurant to have a meal or maybe when you return home there would be already waiting one of your most favourite dishes. Sounds like a plan?

5. Find a buddy or group with likeminded people


You can find likeminded people online (MeetUp.com) or encourage one of your friends to start jogging after work or during the weekends. You will feel more comfortable exploring new places and routes if there will be somebody next to you.

How to wash your sport shoes in the washing machine?

Do you really loved your shoes when you bought them, but they are so dirty that you skip to wear them? Washing machine can give them a second life and you will be very surprised with the result.

I have a light blue Nikes with white shoe sole and can you imagine how they looked after long day in the forest walking throw the mud, sand and grass? Yup, no really great. Actually I was about to throw them out. But, I came up with a solution.

1. Wash your sport shoes under the tap as much as you can and allow water to flow in to shoe inside as well.

2. Prepare other wear that you would be ready to wash you shoes with, of course nothing super fancy, but something like hoodies, trousers, jeans, socks... so that your shoes don't hit washing machine walls while they are spinning.

3. Put everything in washing machine and choose 30 or 40 degree heat.

The result is quit surprising, isn't it?
